The Kiwanis Club is looking for senior students who are actively involved in:
Community Service
School Leadership
School Activities
Have a minimum 3.2 GPA


TO DO:
A 300 word essay on the topic of:

'MY PERSONAL GOALS FOR FUTURE EDUCATION AND FULFILLMENT THROUGH COMMUNITY AND WORLD SERVICE"

Submit 3 letters of recommendation:

1. Teacher
2. Community Leader/community service supervisor
3. Extracurricular advisor

Intermountain Community Bank Scholarship

Intermountain Community Bank will award 8 $500 scholarships!!!

Qualifications:
Spokane area high school senior
Must have at least a 2.5 GPA
Record of good standing in school and community

To Do's:
Design an advertising campaign or submit an essay of 500
words or less, that a represents you idea of community
service. Ads may be created free-hand or electronically and
become the property of Panhandle State Bank to possible
be used in future bank advertising.

Submit two educational or community references.

Made available by the trust department of the U.S. Bank

Offered to students in Spokane and Pend Oreille Counties ($5000 in each of the counties)

The qualities of the applicants will determine the number of winners.

Spokane Interstate has FOUR Ambassador positions!

NOTE THIS DATE: February 26, 2010

Ambassadors must be at least a junior in high school and not older than 20 years old.

Ambassadors are either young men or women

What do Ambassadors do?

Assist with Meet and Greets at the gates

Introductions of entertainers

Distribution of special awards, ribbons

Media interviews

Host special Fair competitions/events

$500 plus a wardrobe and food allowance up to $75.

The Valley Hospital and Medical Center Auxiliary is offering financial assistance of $1,000!

Qualifications:

GPA of: 2.5 or higher

A student planning to graduate from a Spokane Valley High School

Planning for a career in a health care field

Demonstrated responsible leadership in school and community

Shows a need for financial assistance in their education

Awards will be given on a basis of financial need and professional promise.
