RiversEdge Chorus is pleased to offer a $500 scholarship to a musically talented young woman interested in pursuing a career in music. Sweet Adelines International is affiliated with the Music Educators National Conference (MENC).
CRITERIA:
Senior Girl
Good academic records
Exceptional talent in vocal music
Student should also have applied for acceptance into a music program at a college or university
INSTRUCTIONS:
Submit a tape or CD of a short performance demonstrating their particular talent.
Recordings may include accompaniment, as needed.
Completed application
Must agree to perform at the Spring Tea the afternoon of May 14, 2011.

WSPE ENGINEERING SCHOLARSHIPS 2011
The Spokane Chapter of the Washington Society of Professional Engineers will once again sponsor scholarships open to senior high school students who want to enter an engineering college next year!
CRITERIA:
Students need to be entering any ABET accredited engineering college in the fall of 2011.
Students need a minimum SAT score level of 600 for Math and 580 for the average of the new critical reading and writing tests.
INSTRUCTIONS:

FOLLOW-UP:
Committee interivew will be Tuesday evening, March 15, 2011. These interview are an excellent opportunity for students to meet practicing professional engineers and learn about the different opportunities in engineering.
